Death toll of weeks-long protests in Venezuela reaches 34

The latest protest began with thousands of demonstrators rallying against President Nicolas Maduro's plans to change the constitution. The march began peacefully but quickly turned violent.

Ongoing protests in Venezuela have claimed another life. A teenager was killed on Wednesday after police used water cannons and rubber bullets to try and disperse large crowds of demonstrators in the capital Caracas.

At least 34 people have died during protests in the past several weeks against President Nicolas Maduro.
