Mexican authorities said at least 10 people were killed in a shooting that came after a dispute between gang members near Monterrey, Mexico on Friday.
The state prosecutor, Javier Flores, said in a news conference that several armed men entered a beer distribution center and began shooting at those inside resulting in the death of 10 people, three of which died on the way to the hospital.
The attack took place in Garcia, 40 km from the city of Monterrey.
Most victims were reportedly employees of the business.
The attackers reportedly entered the property and demanded money from the personnel, before shooting at them. Authorities are investigating possible links to organised crime and drugs.
Weapons, ammunition magazines and drugs were found in the warehouse, according to State Attorney General Javier Flores.
The former mayor of Garcia, who is the current governor-elect of the state, Jaime Rodriguez faced two assassination attempts during his term, allegedly by a violent drug gang.
