American blogger Aaron Clarey has called for a boycott of the post-apocalyptic film “Mad Max: Fury Road,” which he labels a “feminist piece of propaganda posing as a guy flick,” instead of a film made for men.

Clarey published a post on the  “Return of Kings,” blog titled “Why You Should Not Go See 'Mad Max: Feminist Road.’ ''

Clarey wrote that director George Miller used explosions as a trick for men to make them watch a feminist film.

He wrote that “Charlize Theron kept showing up a lot in the trailers, while Tom Hardy [Mad Max] seemed to have cameo appearances. Charlize Theron sure talked a lot during the trailers, while I don’t think I’ve heard one line from Tom Hardy.”

He also claimed that men all around the world were “duped into seeing what is guaranteed to be nothing more than feminist propaganda, while at the same time being insulted trick and tricked into viewing a piece of American culture ruined and rewritten right in front of their very eyes.”

Clarey also called for a boycott, saying “So do yourself and all men across the world a favor. Not only refuse to see the movie, but spread the word to as many men as possible.”

Return of Kings, where Clarey publishes articles, describes itself as a  blog for “heterosexual, masculine men' 'who believe men should be masculine and women should be feminine’
