Enrique Iglesias was performing to a 12,000 strong audience in Mexico on Saturday when he decided to touch a camera drone taking wide shots and was predictably wounded.

Iglesias has been receiving treatment after two of his fingers were injured during the concert in Mexico.

Drones are used to get crowd shots during his concerts.

Iglesias carried on performing for another 30 minutes despite his wounds.

Photos shared on social media after Saturday's concert at the Plaza de Toros de Playas in Tijuana showed him with a bandaged right hand and a bloodied white T-shirt.

He was flown from Tiijuana to a hospital in Los Angeles for medical care.

He's not due to appear on stage again in his Sex and Love world tour until 3 July in Mexico City, so he will have some time to recover.
