The Eclipse Mill Gallery in Massachusetts, US, now hosts Turkish artist Burcin Erdi’s Fall Down exhibition.
Erdi is a Turkish artist born in Munich. She received her Master's and Doctorate Degrees from the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul. She also studied painting at the Sevilla University in Spain.
Erdi says this exhibition looks into the critical topic of daily life. She says “In our hectic daily life style, every single human being pushes their limits to reach one’s own ideals and dreams but meanwhile the body gets into different shapes to be able to deal with the daily challenges meanwhile we all feel as if or spirits are falling down to black hole as running after reality.“
This is the second time Erdi has exhibited in the United States. In 2013, Burcin Erdi was invited to be a part of New York’s ArtExpo.
Erdi also received the First Place “Global Warming and Climate Change” Award from the Republic of Turkey for her Paintings.
Fall Down can be visited will until 2 August 2015 at the Eclipse Mill Gallery.
