Aerial strikes took place in North Waziristan, near Afghanistan, killing 14 militants according to the Inter Services Relations (ISPR).
The Pakistani army has been fighting against the Taliban since June 2014.
According to the military, the air strike that killed the militants took place on Saturday as a part of the on-going operation.
In the operation more than 3,000 militants have been killed and approximately 300 soldiers, since the operation has started.
According to dailypakistan.com, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited the area to supervise the action against the militants.
