Six killed, 13 wounded in attack on wedding party in Afghanistan

Six Afghan civilians were killed and another 13, mostly females and children, wounded when a bomb has been blown up at a wedding party in Afghanistan’s southern Helmand province, officials said.

According to the statement of Helmand governorate, a roadside bomb was blown up during the passage of the vehicles in the convoy.

A minibus became unusable in the explosion.

No one has claimed responsibility for the blast but Taliban has been blamed for such attacks in the past.

The situation of some of the wounded has been serious.
