British bank HSBC has dismissed six of its employees for imitating an ISIS style execution video during a team-building day and posting it online, a spokesman for the bank confirmed on Tuesday.
According to the bank the video contained footage of staff members in balaclavas pressing a fake knife against a kneeling man in an orange jumpsuit.
“This is an abhorrent video and HSBC would like to apologise for any offence caused,” said the spokesman, adding that the bank has decided to sack the individuals involved.

After filming the video, the employees published the recording on the social media image site Instagram before later deleting it, said the Sun newspaper, which confirmed the existence of the video through screenshots of the clip.
