Amateur ski racers tackle the Inferno

Switzerland's Inferno downhill is the biggest amateur ski race in the world. This year it attracted more than 1,800 competitors.

The idea of throwing yourself down a mountain, on a pair of skis, at more than 100kmh sounds terrifying. 

But for thousands of thrill-seeking skiers, it's the dream.

Amateur ski races across Europe are increasingly in demand. 

TRT World's Dewi Preece went to Murren in Switzerland to find out what the fuss is all about.
