A military jet crashed on a main road in Shoreham, near Brighton, in south England killing at least seven people.
Fifteen other people were reported to be injured, at least one of which was hospitalised with life-threatening injuries.
The plane was a Hawker Hunter fighter jet, a fighter aircraft developed in the 1950s. The pilot was pulled from the burning wreckage.
Local police said that all the casualties were believed to have happened on the road when the plane hit the vehicles.
