There are 4 million Turks in Germany. How have they integrated?

It has been almost 50 years since people from Turkey first moved to Germany to take up jobs in factories but they are still struggling to feel accepted.

Germany has the largest number of Turks outside their country of origin.

Germany has the largest Turkish diaspora, with 1.4 million of them eligible to vote in Turkey's referendum on constitutional changes.

However, despite having roots in the country that go back almost half a century, a number of them feel like they have not integrated into German society.
