UK parliament debates blocking Trump visit

Almost 2 million people signed a petition to prevent US President Donald Trump from making an official state visit to the United Kingdom.

British MPs are debating whether US President Donald Trump should receive a state reception in the UK.

It comes after a petition received over 1.8 million signatures urging politicians to cancel Trump's visit.

To coincide with the debate, anti-Trump groups are staging demonstrations outside the Houses of Parliament.
