Artificial limbs offer new hope to Syrian war victims

A camp in northern Syria is providing help to those who lost their limbs in the war.

The camp has been set up by doctors and technicians for internally displaced persons in northern Syria.

Thousands of people have lost limbs during the six-year-long war in Syria, through air strikes, shelling and land mines.

Some victims of the war had amputations because they could not receive immediate medical attention.
