The world-famous scientist Professor Stephen Hawking is set to make a grand entrance to the stage at the Glastonbury.
The festival's website said “We are incredibly excited to announce that renowned physicist and mathematician Professor Stephen Hawking is coming to the Kidz Field for a special guest appearance”
This year's music festival, which runs from June 24-28 in Somerset, will also star, Florence And The Machine, Mark Ronson and Foo Fighters.
Professor Hawking, who was played by Eddie Redmayne in The Theory Of Everything, has made many media appearances before.
He has appeared in a Star Trek episode, voiced a cartoon version of himself in The Simpsons and was sampled by Pink Floyd.
He also acted in a Comic Relief sketch with David Walliams and Catherine Tate.
Professor Hawking was told he only had a few years to live in 1964 when he was 22 years old.
He is now aged 73 despite his illness leaving him almost completely paralysed, he has developed some of the most ground-breaking scientific theories on black holes, stars and the universe.
