Egyptian authorities announced on Sunday that the security forces have found 15 bodies thought to be African refugees in Sinai, near the border between Egypt and Palestinian Gaza Strip.

On November 12, gunmen shot and killed eight civilians, including a four-year-old child in their home in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, stating that they collaborated with the Israeli security forces.

It is not clear who is behind the killings, but DAESH terrorist group is considered to be the prime suspect because the Egyptian branch of the terrorist group is active in Sinai.

The group claimed responsibility for the Russian Metrojet A-321 plane crash that took place in Sinai on October 31, causing the deaths of 224 people on board.
