Several separate blasts killed at least six people and injured 21 others in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad and the eastern province of Diyala on late Friday, said security forces.
One person was killed and two others were injured when a vehicle carrying a tribal militia exploded in Hur Rajab area, southern Baghdad.
Two other people were killed and eight were injured in other bomb attack near a bazaar in Abu Ghraib district, in Baghdad’s west.
Two shells fell on Saba al Bur area and killed one person, injuring seven others.
A separate bomb exploded in Diyala province’s Abu Sayda district killing one and injuring four others.
Iraq has been facing a security vacuum since June 2014 after ISIS stormed the northern province of Mosul and extended its territories in the region inside Syria.
