Human Rights Watch: Regime used chemical weapons to retake Aleppo

In its latest report, the Human Rights Watch is calling for the UN Security Council to impose sanctions on the Syrian regime after claiming it used chemical weapons to retake eastern Aleppo.

A new report by Human Rights Watch has shed more light on the final weeks of besieged eastern Aleppo before it was retaken by the Syrian regime.

The report claims chemical weapons were used systematically by regime forces and calls on the United Nations to take action.
