Israel carried out an air strike on Friday, on what is claimed to be a Hamas training camp in the Gaza Strip, as retaliation for an alleged rocket fire that came from Gaza.
Israel’s air strike wounded four people, one of them seriously, according to Palestinian medical officials.
Israel claims a rocket was fired earlier from the Gaza Strip to Israel, which led to Israel’s retaliation. No damage or injuries were caused by the rocket, according to the Israeli Defense Forces.
In addition, at least four Palestinians were killed and more than 30 injured on Thursday when an unexploded ordinance from Israel's military assault on Gaza last summer blew up while Palestinian workers were helping family members clear out remaining rubble from a destroyed home in Rafah, in the south of the Gaza Strip, according to Gazan officials.
