Israel carried out an air attack in Gaza Strip on Wednesday over a group of Palestinians who allegedly organized to blast a bomb at the Israeli border, a Palestinian man loosing his life during the attack.

Local residents said the incident took place on a beach nearly 1 kilometre from the border with Israel in the northern part of the region.

Palestinian hospital officials announced Mussa Zeater, 26-year-old man, was killed by the Israeli air attack.

Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an armed wing of the Fatah movement, called Zeater as one of its members.

Since October 1, at least 143 Palestinians have been shot dead, while 24 Israelis have been killed in attacks by Palestinians.

Most of the Palestinians killed have been teenagers as young as 12 -some of whom were killed by armed civilians and others by the Israeli Army- in the alleged attempts of stabbing Israelis.
