Unrest in the occupied territories

Stabbing, gunning and car attacks started in Israeli and Palestinian territories in mid-September in the annexed east Jerusalem, the occupied West Bank and the embargoed Gaza Strip by Israel.

Furthermore, reactions for a possible re-statute of the Al Aqsa Mosque come, which is an extremely important holy site for Muslims and the settlement politics of Israel.

Twelve Israelis have been killed in a spate of attacks by Palestinians, while 78 Palestinians have been killed in similar attacks. Israel claims that 50 of the killed Palestinians are attackers, while the rest were killed in clashes with Israeli forces.
