A 13-year-old Palestinian boy was shot dead on Monday by the Israeli army in clashes that took place inside Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, Palestinian medics told Ma'an news agency.
Another teenager was also shot with live bullets, but survived.
The Palestinian boy was identified as Abed al Rahman Shadi Obeidallah, the gunshot sunk near the boy’s heart, ultimately killing him.
The boy underwent surgery in Beit Jala hospital, however doctors couldn’t save his life and later pronounced him dead.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was looking into the reports.
In a separate incident that took place overnight on Sunday, a Palestinian teenager was killed by Israeli policemen at the Tulkarm checkpoint. More than 200 Palestinians were injured as clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces along with illegal Jewish settlers continued in the occupied West Bank on Sunday.
The teenager was identified as Huthaifa Suleiman, 18, and was allegedly throwing primitive homemade fire bombs during the clashes.
