Jets struck twice on Friday the outskirts of Syria’s Douma, northeast of Damascus, what is reported to be the first attack since a truce deal went into effect, a monitoring group said.

Rami Abdulrahman from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a group that monitors the conflict, said the jets' identity was not clear.

One person was killed in the strikes, Abdulrahman said.

The strikes were conducted by either Syrian or Russian planes, and whether the individual killed was a civilian or a fighter could not be identified, he added.
