Tunisia has lifted the curfew imposed last month in response to violent protests and demonstrations against unemployment in the country.
The security situation has improved, the country’s interior ministry said.
The trigger for demonstrations had been the death of a young man who had lost a government job and climbed an electric transmission tower in the Kasserine region of the country.
Protests spread over several regions of Tunis, some banks and stores were looted by demonstrators.
Imposed on Jan 22, the curfew was intended to be practiced from 20:00 to 05:00.
