UN calls for troop deployment in South Sudan to prevent genocide

The United Nations Human Rights Council has called for the immediate deployment of a 4,000-strong protection force in South Sudan to prevent what it says could be a Rwanda-like genocide.

A UN Commission on South Sudan warned earlier this month that ethnic cleansing is taking place in some parts of the country.
