Juventus wins 31st Serie A title in Italy

Italian football giant Juventus FC wins fourth straight Serie A title after beating Sampdoria 1-0 in an away match on late Saturday

Juventus Football Club have declared its championship in Italian Serie A by defeating Sampdoria in an away game on Saturday four weeks before the end of season.  

Juve’s Chilean forward Arturo Vidal scored the only goal against Sampdoria in the first half of the game to bring his team 1-0 victory.

The victory brought Italian trophy to the Turin-based football team which increased their points to 79 against the closest contester Lazio, which has 62 points in the league table.

Hence, the Italian team clinched its fourth consecutive and 31st championship in total to increase its lead over AC Milan who has 18 titles.

Juve’s championship in the Italian Serie A also means their coach Massimiliano Allegri's second title in his career.

Allegri had won his first championship in the season of 2010-11 while he was previously training Juve’s biggest opponent A.C. Milan.
