Sevilla reached Europa League final after passing Fiorentina in Firenze with two goals. The goals that secured the Spanish team’s place in the final came from Carlos Bacca and Daniel Carrico. Sevilla won over the Italian team with ease by also enjoying the huge advantage gained with 3-0 in the first leg.

The game played at the Artemio Franchi Stadium was a huge mountain for Fiorentina to climb due to the score in the first leg but the home team lost their hopes upon the opener scored by Bacca at 22nd minute. The first goal was followed by Carrico’s slot just after five minutes, leaving Fiorentina hopeless to reach the final.

It was 1990 when Fiorentina had played its last European final game.

Sevilla is going to play against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, the Ukrainian team in the Europa League final in Moscow on May 27.
