Sixty four targets of the outlawed PKK in northern Iraq were hit by Turkish air strikes on Sept. 11, resulting in over 60 PKK terrorist casualties, local media reported on Monday.
According to reports, twenty one jets including F-16's and F-4 2020’s participated in the air strikes that targeted the PKK camps in Qandil, Hakurk, Avashin, Metina, Basyan, Gare and Zab.
In the attacks, 64 targets were hit by air strikes, among them, one of the largest ammunition storages of PKK, located in Gare, Over 80 smart bombs were used in the air strikes.
The security sources said that the explosions at the storage site continued for over two hours after the bombing.
The video footage of the air strikes was released by the Office of the Chief of Staff.
