DAESH suicide bomb attack hit Istanbul's Fatih district on Jan.12, killing 10 German tourists.

The death toll from Fatih suicide bombing rose to eleven as another German citizen, who was wounded in the incident, died at the hospital on Wednesday.

The deceased woman was identified as 63 year old Birgit G.

A suicide bomb attack reportedly carried out by a DAESH terrorist in Istanbul's Fatih district had killed 10 German tourists and wounded 15 others, mostly foreign tourists, on Jan.12.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said according to an official investigation the suicide bomber was a Syrian citizen who was born in Saudi Arabia in 1988.

The bomber had come to Turkey as an ordinary refugee,  Davutoglu added.

DAESH terror attacks have reportedly killed almost 150 civilians in Turkey in 2015.

In October 2015, 103 people were killed in a twin DAESH suicide bomb attack in Turkey's capital Ankara.

In another DAESH suicide bombing 34 people were killed in the Suruc district of Turkey's southeastern Sanliurfa Province, which borders Syria, on July 20, 2015.
