Youth wing of outlawed PKK calls for uprising following Turkish Air Force air strikes targeting PKK camps in Northern Iraq

Patriotic Revolutionist Youth Movement (YDG-H), the youth wing of the outlawed PKK has called for an uprising on their Twitter account.

“From tomorrow on, we call all of our security forces to take action against the fascist and killer mentality,” the message read.

Twitter message, calling for an uprising published right after the air strikes carried out by Turkish F-16 fighter jets hitting the PKK targets in N. Iraq.

Following the Twitter message, a detailed statement of YDG-H, calling for an uprising published on ANF NEWS website.

The statement said, “We call all revolutionist, socialist and patriot youth to the streets and squares with the soul of Oct. 6-7. We call each of you to stand guard in your neighbourhood and to struggle. It is time for the revolutionist people’s war.”

The events of Oct. 6-7 took place when the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) called on its supporters to streets to rally in support of besieged Kobani. The rally soon turned into attacks on members of HDP rival conservative Kurdish Free Cause Party (Huda-Par Party) by youth arm of the terrorist PKK and during the protests more than 40 people were killed.

Yasin Boru, Hakan Gokgoz, Riyat Gunes and Huseyin Dakak as well as Hüda-Par members were killed on the fourth day of Eid al-Adha in Diyarbakır while distributing food packages that were assigned by an association for aid purposes. In the incident which took place during the events of Oct. 6-7, the victims were gruesomely attacked with knives and arms by the protesters and had taken shelter in an apartment building where they were brutally killed.
