PKK terrorists targeted a school building, injuring five children in Turkeys southeastern province of Diyarbakir

Five children were injured after PKK terrorists threw a bomb at a school building on Friday in Turkey’s southeastern province of Diyarbakir.

The primary school children were immediately taken to hospital in the Baglar district.

Security forces launched an operation in the region to seize the terrorists.

PKK terrorists have targeted schools several times in many southeastern provinces of Turkey.

Meanwhile, the terrorists attacked a police vehicle with rocket launchers on Friday in the Sirnak province.

No casualties were reported from the incident.

PKK, which is considered a terrorist organisation by Turkey, the US, and EU resumed its 30-year armed campaign against Turkey in late July, after unilaterally ending a two and half year ceasefire.

Since then, more than 250 people; including, security officials and civilians have died in PKK terror attacks.

Within January, at least 28 Turkish security officers died during anti-terror operations in the southeastern provinces.
