The PKK terrorists on Tuesday killed one more Turkish police officers in terror attack carried out in Turkey’s eastern province of Tunceli, raising the number of Turkish security officials killed today to 15.
The militants opened gunfire on police officer’s vehicle while he was driving with his daughter on the Tunceli-Erzincan highway.
Critically wounded after the incident, the police officer died of his injuries at Tunceli State Hospital while his daughter survived without wounds.
Earlier on Tuesday, 14 police officers were killed in PKK’s terror attack in Turkey’s eastern province of Igdir.
The improvised explosive device (IED) attack hit the police bus carrying policemen who were escorting customs officials working at Dilucu Border Gate located in Turkey’s Azerbaijan border province of Igdir.
Renewed its armed struggle with Turkish state since the outawed PKK’s umbrella organisation, the Group of Communities in Kurdistan (KCK) ended ceasefire on July 11, PKK terrorists killed a total of 112 Turkish security officials in many other terror attacks.
