Seven people have been detained in connection with DAESH suicide bombing that hit Istanbul's Fatih district killing 10 German tourists, Turkish Interior Minister Efkan Ala said on Thursday.
Ala said that the anti terror operations over the attack have been continuing across the country.
As Ala underlined the stand against terrorism, he also said that humanity will face terrorism as the biggest problem in the upcoming years.
Turkish authorities earlier stated that a 28-year-old Syrian citizen was responsible for the suicide attack in Istanbul's Fatih, which have killed 10 people and wounded 15.
Turkey's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Tuesday that the bomber was found to be affiliated with DAESH terrorist group.
All of the victims have been foreign tourists visiting Turkey, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated.
He also noted that he called German Chancellor Angela Merkel following the incident in order to convey his condolences because most of the dead were German tourists.
