The prominent business associations of Turkey, namely Turkish Business and Industry Association (TUSİAD) and Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MUSİAD) are scheduled to meet party leaders in capital Ankara on Tuesday.
TUSIAD board led by the chair Cansel Basaran-Symes will be visiting the party leaders after the elections on dates of June 16-17.
The governing Justice and Development Party (AK Party), the Republican People’s Party (CHP) and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) will be visited by TUSIAD board.
However, the board will meet pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) at a later date due to HDP leaders being outside of Ankara.
According to TUSIAD statement, the board will express their satisfaction from formation of a parliament where the representation is broad.
“The election results are being an opportunity to pave the way of Turkey in every area, particularly economically, will be underlined,” the statement said.
CHP and MHP meeting will take place on June 16 while the meeting with the AK Party leader and the Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will be on June 17.
In the meantime, Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD) met with with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday evening in Istanbul and PM Davutoglu will meet with MUSIAD board on Wednesday following TUSIAD meeting.
