Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, declared that he gave all the necessary instructions to immediately find out who or which group is behind the attack on former Chairman of AK Party Diyarbakir Youth Branch, Yunus Koca, who was killed in Diyarbakir on Monday.
On his Twitter page, Davutoglu said that, Yunus Koca was one of the courageous people devoted to the AK Party’s cause.
Davutoglu said ‘’I gave all the necessary instructions to immediately find out who or which group is behind the attack. We will be staying on top of this attack with all of our resources. May God rest his soul and I convey my condolences to his family.’’
AK Party’s former Head of Youth Branch for the city of Diyarbakir, Yunus Koca, was a pharmacist, he was murdered in an armed attack in the Turkey's southeastern city of Diyarbakir.
Diyarbakir, where Koca had lived, has been witnessing increased number of terror attacks launched by the outlawed PKK after the Suruc suicide bombing on July 20.
Koca, was attacked by unidentified gunmen in front of his workplace, in the town of Yenisehir, Anadolu Agency has reported.
The critically wounded victim was taken to the hospital, but could not be saved despite all medical efforts.
An investigation is underway, as the police are trying to determine if the incident is terror related.
