US President Donald Trump has pledged a new relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Both the leaders are expected to meet later this year.

But Russia's former prime minister Mikhail Kasyanov says he is not optimistic about the talks.

Kasyanov, who was dismissed by Putin in February 2004 after three years in office, accuses Putin of rolling back democracy in Russia.

He speaks in an exclusive interview with TRT World's Dana Lewis.
