Trump visits Puerto Rico amid mounting criticism

Visiting Puerto Rico on Tuesday, Trump said jokingly that the recovery from Hurricane Maria on the island was blowing the US budget "a little out of whack."

US President Donald Trump says Puerto Rico's debts will need to be wiped out, as the island recovers from two hurricanes. 

Trump visited the US territory to observe the federal relief effort. But he's been criticised for seeming unsympathetic to the devastation suffered by the island's residents.
