Dozens dead in western Afghanistan bus collision: authorities

At least 71 people have been killed in western Afghanistan when a passenger bus collided with a truck, local police and provincial government said.
"Due to excessive speed and negligence, (the bus) veered off the main road and collided severely" with a truck in Herat province, police said on Tuesday.
