Dr Manjra is a medical doctor and social activist. He works as an occupational and sports medicine physician and is an honorary senior lecturer in the University of Cape Town’s School of Public Health. He serves on the Board of the Trauma Centre of Survivors of Violence and Torture, in whose founding Archbishop Desmond Tutu played a key role. Dr Manjra also serves on the Board of Ndifuna Ukwazi, an NGO committed to spatial justice and the Health Justice Initiative, committed to vaccine justice.
