HR Manager – TRT World & TRT Arabic
Location: Istanbul


The Human Resources Manager contributes significantly to the TRT World's Operations team by providing leadership and management to all HR related activities. Reporting to the Vice Director of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, achievement & implementation of the Human Resources strategy throughout TRT World & TRT Arabic channels.



·         Supervising all Human Resource related issues including HR Admin, Recruitment, Organization Development & Analytics;

·         Working directly with team leaders and BP’s in reaching quarterly goals of all departments at TRT World & TRT Arabic;

·         Perfecting HR Admin workflows and act as an internal customer service to employees at TRT World & TRT Arabic

·         Acting as a liaison between Operations Department and other departments in personnel management, payroll, disciplinary procedures

·         Implementing ERP transition and fully transferring all HR related workflows to Microsoft Dynamics Ax;

·         Providing quarterly reports on HR Operations, Recruitment, Organization Development and creating innovative and insightful reporting templates & reports

·         Designing & implementing steps to achieve higher engagement among staff; identification with TRT Network and overall impeccable expat management policies

·         Supervising and mentoring BP’s in their daily activities including Org Chart changes, promotions and staff engagement

·         Representing TRT World & TRT Arabic in different Human Capital related events & gatherings

·         Consulting & guiding key stakeholders at TRT World & TRT Arabic in terms of best practices, policies in Human Resources

·         Ensure compliancy with labor law and work closely with legal team on different HR related issues




·         Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources & Corporate environment

·         Fluent English & Turkish is a must

·         Knowledge of Arabic is highly advantageous

·         University degree in Business Administration, HR, Psychology or related fields.

·         High EQ with proven track record of success in Human Resources

·         Proven track record of leadership in Recruitment, Organization Development & HR Admin

·         Experienced team leader with ability to work in highly stressful environment

·         Adaptable & self-actualized personality
