Turkey and Madagascar boost bilateral ties
A deal to improve Madagascan tourism is among the bilateral agreements the country has reached with the Turkish government.
Tourism is a key revenue source for Madagascar, generating more than 700 million dollars in 2016.
This is the highest amount since a 2009 coup caused revenue to plunge.
The country remains one of Africa's main tourist spots. It has now signed a deal with Turkey to build the infrastructure to expand the sector.
TRT World's Fidelis Mbah reports from Madagascar's capital Antananarivo.
