An attempt to defuse a bomb in a car left by Al Shabab in the Somalia capital Mogadishu went horribly wrong.
A bomb exploded near a convoy of the deputy chairman of Pakistan's Senate on Friday, in the province of Balochistan. The death toll could rise with dozens injured. Daesh claimed responsibility for the suicide bomb attack.

At least seven people were killed and over 20 wounded in the blasts which took place at a sessions court in Tangi, a town in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pakistan has seen a spike in fatal bombings in recent weeks.
The death toll could rise from Sunday's attack. The car bomber wounded more than 50 others when he blew himself up at a market in the capital Mogadishu.
At least 20 people have been killed in the blast in the centre of Kabul, according to the health ministry. As yet, there has been no claim of responsibility.
The attack targeted a police station in the southeastern city and comes after Turkish authorities arrested senior HDP leaders from the region as part of a counter-terrorism investigation.
