Palestinians have protested across the occupied West Bank and Gaza in support of Palestinian prisoner Abu Hawash after Islamic Jihad threatened military action against Israel if he were to die in custody.
Hisham Abu Hawash has refused food for 140 days in one of the longest hunger strikes ever held by a Palestinian prisoner.
Hisham Abu Hawash, who has been protesting his detention by Israel by refusing food for around 140 days, is facing "potentially irreversible health consequences and possible tragic loss of life".
