US President Donald Trump met North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Hanoi for a summit to discuss denuclearisation of Korean peninsula and lifting sanctions on Pyongyang.
Special envoys Suh Hoon and Chung Eui-yong will lead the Pyongyang visit but the upcoming military drills between US and South Korea could dampen their mission.
North Korea's leader says he will monitor the US a little longer after receiving army's plan to fire missiles towards US territory of Guam, the state-run media says. Meanwhile, South Korea says it would avoid a second Korean War at all costs.
