US President Donald Trump abruptly sacks his national security chief amid disagreements with the hawkish aide over how to handle foreign policy challenges such as North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan, and Russia.
North Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Belarus make an appearance in the list of countries the organisation says are cracking down on press freedoms.
The launches came after North Korea said a day earlier that it was willing to restart nuclear talks with the United States in late September.

The airport, one of the world's busiest, blamed demonstrators for halting flights on Monday, but the exact trigger for the closure was not clear as protesters occupying the arrivals hall for the past five days have been peaceful.
UN report seen by Reuters showed that North Korea “used cyberspace to launch increasingly sophisticated attacks to steal funds from financial institutions and cryptocurrency exchanges to generate income.”
North Korea's latest missile launches were meant as a warning to Washington and Seoul over their joint war games, the North's leader Kim Jong Un said, according to state news agency KCNA.
The launches, the third round of missile launches in a week, were fired off separately from North Korea's eastern coast early Friday, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff told Yonhap.
The test verified the combat effectiveness of the overall system, and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un predicted "it would be an inescapable distress to the forces becoming a fat target of the weapon", state news agency KCNA said.
Thursday's missile tests were the first since Kim and US President Donald Trump agreed to resume nuclear talks during an impromptu meeting last month in the demilitarised zone between North and South Korea.
