August 14 marks the 73rd year of Pakistan's founding. It seems as if history has completed a full circle: the country is finally discovering the secular roots of its origin, as articulated by its founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Pakistanis are celebrating their National Day with a military parade, also attended by Malaysia PM Mahathir Mohamad, that's showcasing short-and long-range missiles, tanks, jets, drones and other hardware.
Naeem Rashid was killed while trying to tackle terrorist Brenton Tarrant in one of the Christchurch mosques. Islamabad says the award will be given on March 23, Pakistan Day.
