Syrian regime media has said missiles came from the Israeli-occupied Golan heights while a war monitor said another four have been injured after the strikes.
Dozens of fires that devastated large areas in both countries have been controlled, officials say, without revealing the full extent of the damage.

The strikes hit several positions near Damascus and targeted a research centre and a military airport west of Syria's Homs city, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
War monitor said that Syrian regime forces and insurgents fought fierce battles that left dozens dead in the country's northwest, as the regime tried to regain control of two villages they lost earlier this month.
The missiles targetted Tal al Hara sector located near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, according to regime-run SANA news agency, which reported no casualties.
"Our air defence systems intercepted luminous objects coming from the occupied territories (Israel) and downed several of them," SANA news agency says quoting a regime military source.
The explosion near the central town of Salamiyeh was caused by explosives left behind by Daesh militants when they controlled the area, said Syrian regime's news agency SANA.
