The base scenario for Turkey's football league and cup matches is to start in mid-June and to finish in late July, says Turkish clubs' association chairman.
The Turkish Super Lig is considered one of Europe’s most competitive leagues, with its fair share of big names and up-and-coming clubs.
Turkey's football teams Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, and Basaksehir are in the running for the league title, with final matches on Friday and Saturday.
A draw is all they will need next week. But if they don't get that, Basaksehir could spoil the party and claim the title. Fenerbahce have a slight chance, but will need providence on their side.
Epureanu's goal moved Basaksehir to first place in Turkey's Super Lig with 30 points. Galatasaray had been leading the league for thirteen weeks, since round one, but they moved down to second spot after losing to Besiktas in round 14.
