TRT World Forum 2019 Opening Dinner will take place on October 20 with the participation of President Erdogan

TRT World Forum 2019 begins on 21-22 October at Istanbul Convention Center.

TRT World Forum, which brings together global opinion leaders and academics from different geographies of the world, will focus on important issues under the title of "Globalisation in Retreat: Risks and Opportunities".

TRT World Forum, the third to be held this year, will begin with TRT World Forum 2019 Opening Dinner, which will be held on October 20 with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Guests from abroad as well as prominent names from Turkey will come together at the dinner.

At TRT World Forum Opening Dinner, both the topics of this year's TRT World Forum and hot issues on Turkey's political agenda will be discussed.

TRT World Forum, which brings together esteemed politicians, policy makers, academics, journalists, and leading experts will hold over two days to discuss the issues such as far-right terrorism, the rise of populism and nationalism, the future of the Middle East, trade wars, future of the European Union and the cooperation of emerging powers.

The sessions in which political, economic and social issues concerning the whole world will be discussed are as follows; "The Allure of Identity Politics in a Globalised World", "New Horizons for Emerging Powers: Co-operation or Competition?", "NATO under the Gun: The Emergence of New Security Challenges", "The Threat of Far-right Extremism: War on Terror 2.0?",The Middle East at a Crossroad: Regional Responses to Shifting Challenges", "The Assassination of Jamal Khashoggi: A Reflection of Regional Politics?", "EU: A Vote of No Confidence? ".
