In Turkey, a close vote after a long campaign

Turkey has voted "yes" in a referendum on constitutional change that will usher in a presidential system of governance. In the wake of a close vote, reactions were mixed.

The "Yes" camp won a tightly contested referendum on Sunday with 51.4 percent of the vote. "No" received the support of 48.6 percent of the electorate.

The close vote generated mixed reactions from the leadership and from the people.
