Istanbul has world's 2nd deepest vertical agricultural farm
As the world grapples with overpopulation, food crises, environmental issues, and grain shortages related to the war in Ukraine, experts believe that the solution lies in vertical farms established in urban centers. Turkiye's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is actively working on this by launching the world's second-deepest indoor vertical agriculture center, cultivating new technologies right in the heart of Istanbul.
